Don't Take Water For Granted, It's Time To Conserve!

I think many of us take water for granted. Sure it is unlimited, but we are using it to faster than it can be replenished. By conserving water we save energy and money. While I was browsing the net, I found a website on water conservation called Water Use It Wisely Here are some easy and simple tips from the website that we can all do to reduce the amount of water we use.

*Turn of the the faucet when brushing your teeth

*Try to take short showers ( do we really need more then 5 minutes)

*Wait until there are enough clothes to turn the washing machine, the same goes for the dishwasher.

 * Plant in the fall when there is more of a chance of rain so you don't you more water.

 * If you must water your lawn, do it in the morning when the temperatures are cooler so that there is less evaporation.

 * Check for water leakage and fix them!

*Use the water that fills up in your roof to water plants.

 * There are car washes that recycle their water, find them

Of course there are many more, and it only takes a little effort and just some thought to conserve water, just like everything else. I truly believe that if we act together and are just a bit more thoughtful about the place that nurtures us so much, our environment will be in a better condition.
