Organic Foods Must Be Certified By The USDA National Organic Program

How can you be sure that the apples or any other fruit/vegetable that you just picked up are truly organic? The National Organic Program also known as the NOP certifies them, of course. They also deal with accrediting agents that inspect products to prove that they meet the standards and regulations of the USDA. Producers, retailers etc. need the approval of the NOT in order to call their products "organic". In order to certify your products as organic, you need to contact a certifying agent that has been approved by the National Organic Program of USDA.
Please visit their website to learn more about the program and more.
