Painting a Baby Room - Pure, Gentle and Resistant

When you are expecting a new baby, you want to welcome him or her into a fresh, clean, and tidy room. Many to be parents move to a new apartment or house while they are expecting due to the need for extra space. First step is generally to paint the baby's room.

The most important step in choosing the paint for baby's room is that it should be free of VOC's* and be odor-less.

Ecotrend Collagen Paint is a great product to be considered since it is certified by GREENGUARD and holds the most stringent requirements under the "Children and Schools" category. This premium paint product has a natural resistance to mold and mildew but does not contain biocides, heavy metals or other harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde or ammonia.

Since this product uses the eggshell's lining (collagen) as the paints binder, it retains the quality of high VOC products such as excellent adhesion, superior coverage, fast-dry and scrub resistance.

This product passed the ASTM G-21 test for prevention of mold and mildew. Available in three sheens; Flat, Eggshell and Semi-Gloss and four bases allows any color to be tinted. A zero VOC interior primer to compliment the system is also available.
